Work Experience

 

May - Sept 2023        Nas Academy ( Content Accelerator Program Student)

                                            I have always had a passion for photography and video creation for 

                                        social media. When I came across an opportunity on Instagram to enroll in 

                                        a content creator program, I eagerly signed up for the course. 

                                        I have recently graduated from the course, with consistent practice, I have 

                                        noticed significant growth in my editing skills. My primary passion lies in 

                                        traveling and storytelling through video. I aspire to make a meaningful 

                                        impact with my one-minute videos.

                                        During my time at NAS Academy, I acquired knowledge and expertise in 

                                        strategic planning, market insights, branding, and monetization. 

                                        As a graphic designer, this experience has provided me with valuable 

                                        insights into the digital platform.

 

2016 - 2024                Menu Design and Print Website ( Design and Print Consultant )

                                            I continue to freelance as a designer from my home studio, specializing 

                                        primarily in the creation of takeaway menus. My responsibilities extend to 

                                        assisting clients in updating pricing information and refining menu color 

                                        schemes. Notably, I maintain a diverse clientele base spanning across 

                                        England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales, with communication 

                                        facilitated through telephone, WhatsApp, and various social media platforms. 

                                        Over the years, I have successfully delivered more than 300 unique 

                                        designs annually.

 

2010 - 2016                Och Design Studio, Belfast ( Design and Print Consultant )

                                            In 2010, I initiated my own design and print business, initially operating 

                                        from a small unit in East Belfast. However, in 2016, the demands of 

                                        parenthood necessitated a shift in my work arrangement, prompting me 

                                        to establish a home-based workspace. In my capacity, I consistently deliver 

                                        top-notch customer service, adeptly discern customer design preferences, 

                                        and specialize in designing a variety of promotional materials, with a focus 

                                        on flyers, takeaway menus, and business cards

 

June 2010                    Still Furnitures, Belfast ( Interior Design Customer Advisor )

                                        In my role as a Interior Designer and furniture salesperson, I had the 

                                        privilege of assisting customers in selecting the perfect furniture pieces 

                                        and coordinating delivery logistics. Through this experience, I honed my 

                                        customer service expertise and developed effective sales techniques.

 

2007 - June 2010    Eastern Travel, Donegall Pass, Belfast ( Travel Agent )

                                            After completing my university education, I embarked on a career with a 

                                        travel agency where I was responsible for designing promotional materials, 

                                        assisting customers, and promoting travel products through both in-person 

                                        and telephone sales. I also conducted market research to analyze pricing 

                                        trends and actively participated in selling airline tickets to the public.
